AAQ Deep Sky Observing Nights are sometimes held at Cunningham's Lookout near Warrill View. Directions on how to get there are given below. - Drive west from Brisbane along the Ipswich Motorway.
- Turn left onto the Cunningham Highway (follow the signs for Warwick) .
- Drive south along the Cunningham Highway to Warrill View, a small town located approximately 19 km south from the turnoff to Amberley / Rosewood.
- Turn right at Warrill View into the Rosewood - Warrill View Road. The turnoff is located at the base of a short steep hill. (Note: If you have traffic immediately behind you it may be safer to continue driving along the Cunningham Highway through Warrill View and turn left into the Warrill View - Peak Crossing Road and then turn back onto the Cunningham Highway driving north to the Rosewood - Warrill View Road turnoff.)
- Drive approximately 3 km west along the Rosewood - Warrill View Road.
- Near the top of a hill turn left onto an unsealed track leading to Cunningham's Lookout (has two sheltered picnic tables that can be seen from the Rosewood - Warrill View Road).
